One summer, while staying with her husband’s family in California’s Sonoma Valley, Xuan Thi heard a soft, rhythmic humming in the peaceful countryside.

Following her uncle’s gesture, she caught her first glimpse of a hummingbird in the wild.

Almost weightless, it appeared like a tiny jewel suspended in the sunlight.

Despite its delicate size, the hummingbird is remarkably resilient. It can hover in place, fly backward, and travel incredible distances.

Yet what stayed with Xuan Thi most deeply was the graceful way it moved from blossom to blossom—a quiet expression of both beauty and strength.

Each hummingbird motif is individually brought to life by Vietnamese artisans through intricate embroidery and beadwork.
